How to Make Fermented Vegetables and Kefir
What are fermented foods?
What are the benefits of eating them?
How can you make them at home?
Fermented foods include milk kefir, coconut water kefir and all kinds of vegetables, from cabbage to cucumbers to mixtures of everything, from kimchi to sauerkraut.
Regular ingestion of these foods can improve your overall health: tipping the complex balance of microorganisms in your gut in favour of ‘’friendly’’ bacteria. A healthy gut leads to strong immunity, fights candida and by increasing production of serotonin, can even improve emotional wellbeing.
Meridians will be hosting a fermented food workshop on
Monday 15 May, 1400-1600 at the Sky Garden of our Setapak venue.
You will learn the benefits of consuming fermented food, how to make fermented vegetables, milk kefir, and coconut water kefir, as well as taste some delicious samples.
Cost of the two-hour workshop is RM80, including handout materials.
RM60 early bird discount is available if you book and pay before April 30.
